Parts of a Castle

The best spot to build a castle is on top of a hill, because the guards could more easily spot attackers approaching.
A moat is deep ditch surrounding the castle walls, filled with water, The moat was made around the castle, The moat is loaded with traps and spikes in case someone tried to swim across.
A drawbridge is a bridge built across the moat, The castle needed one to keep intruders out.
Knights and their family lived in the barracks.
The Great Hall is a passageway that connects the lord`s home to keep.
The Chapel was a place to hold services. The chapel was usually built either inside the load`s home or a separate building.
I think the Chapel is important because it is built inside the lord`s room.
